Two employers and an MD will discuss the spectrum of approaches they have used to improve outcomes and control cost of health care. Employers will review the broad range of options considered, their rationale for program selection, emerging results where available, and lessons learned. In addition to traditional care management and health promotion/disease prevention programs, panelists will review innovative programs, which range from care support for complex conditions focusing specifically on the most expensive 1% of participants to effective use of on-site clinics.
