Get involved with the CCA and put your expertise to work!
Committee involvement can help you grow professionally, expand your network, gain knowledge and shape the profession. Listed below are the CCA Committees open to volunteers.
The Annual Meeting Program Committee plans the program for the Annual Meeting (AM) and is responsible to the Board for the design and implementation of such programs.
The CCA Enrolled Actuaries Conference Program Committee plans the program for the CCA Enrolled Actuaries Conference, recruits qualified speakers and moderators on a timely basis.
The Communities Committee advises the VP of Communities and assists the Vice President in the oversight of the groups.
The Continuing Education Committee identifies, develops, and delivers innovative learning, currently pursuing E-Learning modules, that support the actuarial consulting profession.
The Healthcare Meeting Committee plans the program for the CCA Healthcare Meeting and is responsible for the design and implementation of such meeting.
The Membership Committee works to grow membership in the CCA by increasing awareness of the benefits of membership to consulting actuaries and their employers.
The Professionalism Committee is responsible for the development and delivery of education and training on the topic of professionalism, and to serve as a resource for information on professionalism to CCA members.
Session Assistants assist the moderators and speakers before and during CCA educational events. Session Assistants are also responsible for providing a short summary of the session for publication.
Speakers are needed to present on a variety of topics within CCA’s continuing education programs. These programs include the Annual Meeting, Enrolled Actuaries Conference, Healthcare Meeting, and webinars.
The Webinar Committee is responsible for the design, implementation, speaker recruitment and presentation coordination for all CCA webinars.
